Anastasia Shvets

Anastasia Shvets is a 22-year old nursing student from Toronto that was born in Kiev, Ukraine. A few years ago she was working in customer service at a Wal-Mart when a photographer asked if she was a model and if not, she should become one. I would say that photographer has a good eye for talent - and the career as an RN can wait.

Anastasia Shvets Anastasia Shvets is an Eastern European talent born in 1988 in Kiev Ukraine. She is a Ukrainian, Russian and Bellarussian 4th year nursing student, a Latin American/Ballroom dancer and a model. At 6 years of age Anastasia’s mother gave her daughter to a ballet school at which the European talent has gained some ballet skills. Just when Anastasia was 9 years old, Anastasia’s mother decided to introduce her daughter to the world of a busy life schedule which included piano lessons, English lessons and Dancing lessons. That’s where Anastasia has started her dancing career and passion as a Latin American/ Ballroom dancer and has been training, competing and performing ever since till this day.

When Anastasia was 18 she was working as a customer service representative at Wal-Mart, which has opened up the world of modeling for the young talent. While working in the department store, one day a middle-aged man, who happened to be a photographer has come up to Anastasia and asked her if she was a model and if not that she should be one. Consequently, the man has given Anastasia his card and told her to think about the potential of becoming a model. Ever since, Anastasia has been featured in various magazines and runway shows. In 2010, Anastasia has earned the title of Miss Swimwear Toronto 2010, which has advanced her to the next level in the modeling industry.

Anastasia is currently studying away towards her career as a registered nurse in her 4th year at the Bachelor of Nursing Program.
