I am a big fan of leopard print. If I could I would totally decorate the house in animal prints just to spite my boyfriend, since he thinks they’re tacky. Well maybe in a way they are, but when it comes to clothing, I think it’s totally acceptable.
When I noticed that Tabu Toys had a corset top in leopard print on their site, I had to ask if I could review it since they usually only have a list of certain items that they want their reviewers to do and she kindly agreed upon it. I love that they’re so lenient with what we can review for them, since the everyday vibrator or dildo can get old and repetitive after a while. Like vibrator goes in vagina, it vibrates and uhh it vibrates some more until I orgasm. How exciting is that really? Okay so maybe it’s not that bad, but you get the idea.Anyways, the item arrived a few days after I asked and I notice that it wasn’t in the size I requested. Well it WAS on the outside plastic, but the actual corset was a size XL and was supposed to be a 2X. I was like there’s no way in hell that is going to fit me as I tried to wrap it around. So, I contacted Tabu Toys again and told them about the issue and they said that I could just give this one away in a giveaway and they would send me the real size in the next couple days. Well it arrived and I had the exact same issue, so I suggested that maybe their manufacturer is not putting the right sizes in the plastic wrapping, because these are not 2X. She said she would contact them and make sure it’s the correct size and ship it out to me quickly and to give this other one in a giveaway as well. So now I have two leopard print burlesque corsets in size XL that I can giveaway.
Don’t get too excited though.
The size on these corsets is not correct at all. The 2X fits more like a Large, MAYBE an XL, but that’s a big maybe. So I’m imagining that the XL fits a medium, MAYBE a large. Now I know corsets are supposed to be sized smaller to synch your waist, but you have to be able to breathe and get it around you in the first place and it doesn’t work, at least for me. The cup area is also really tiny and will not fit a D cup without over spilling or looking completely whore-ish. But, I kind of gathered that from the photo of the girl online with her huge breasts and figured this would be an item I’d just wear in the bedroom. It would probably be perfect for a person who is a B or C just to be comfortable. The boning in the corset is that thin bendy plastic type, the kind that likes to stab me right under the boob and make it completely uncomfortable to sit. I’m sure if this does that, then the steel boning probably would as well, but since I have not had a corset that contained that, I cannot say. The material of the actual corset is kind of satin-y, with lace ruffles on the top cup area. It comes with 2 pairs of panties, one of which is the ruffle butt burlesque type and a regular black thong. I actually really like the ruffle panties and they fit great, just wished I could say the same for the top since it’s a cute set.
